Do you repair heat pumps?
Yes. We repair heat pumps from all major brands, including problems with heating, defrost, refrigerant and aux heat.
What does it mean when my aux heat stays on?
Aux heat is the backup electric heat in a heat pump system. It is normal for it to come on briefly during very cold weather or a defrost cycle. If it stays on for long stretches, the heat pump may be iced over, low on refrigerant or have a failed part, or the thermostat may be set up wrong. Backup heat costs much more to run, so it is worth having it checked.
Do you offer emergency or after-hours heating repair?
Yes, and same-day service is available. Regular hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM, and we also take after-hours and Sunday calls. After-hours service is $149 for non-members, Sunday calls from 8 AM to 8 PM are the standard $99, and Comfort Club members never pay extra.
